Detail:
This course will give an understanding of what Autism is.
We look at an overview of the different spectrum of autistic disorders and how they can affect people in a variety of ways, while exploring the importance of using a person-centered approach to provide support. We explore how to use appropriate communication skills and positive behaviour to encourage children with autistic spectrum conditions to live fulfilling and independent lives.
