Turning Point (Herefordshire Substance Recovery Service) is providing naloxone (life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids), along with training, in order to help reduce overdose deaths.

The training takes 30 minutes and covers overdose awareness – both stimulants and depressants – and concludes with training on how to administer naloxone. After the training, naloxone kits are provided, either to be collected from the Turning Point office or they can be posted. Naloxone comes in the form of a yellow box with a pre-loaded syringe inside. Turning Point take the name of the person they give each kit to but no other information / details are needed.
