This is a two part course, both parts need to be attended in order for you to complete the course.
This course is delivered over two sessions on how to deliver a substance misuse brief intervention to young people. It is a discussion based course learning evidence-based skills to engage young people around their substance use and work with ambivalence. It also looks at how we manage substance use when it is beyond a brief intervention.

- Delivering brief interventions
- When is it a problem, screening and working with risk.
This course is for any professionals who work with children and young people where there are concerns about substance misuse.
