Care planning - Exploring the Permanency Options

Course Aim:

For participants to be able to identify, understand and put into practice the different permanency options for children.

Learning Outcomes:

• Develop awareness of permanence and the impact upon children.
• Increase knowledge of the various permanence options for children
• Enable good practice for thinking through and planning permanence and establishing contingency plans
• Enhance understanding process and how to execute permanence plans for children
• Consider the need to explore all permanency options when permanency planning for adoption, including consideration of re B-S balancing process.
