THIS COURSE IS OPEN TO THOSE WHO WORK WITH ADULTS IN HEREFORDSHIRE.
This course is CPD accredited as of September 2023
This is a 1 hour virtual course. Joining instructions will be sent out to you approx. 7 days before the course date. There is no cost for attending this course.
This course is helpful for professionals and people who work with adults with a responsibility to keep them safe; it is helpful for becoming aware of what to look out for. Learn more about why adults are vulnerable and how they are manipulated into harmful situations and exploited.
This course aims to raise awareness of:
- Why some adults are more at risk of exploitation than others
- Spotting the signs that an adult might be being exploited
- County lines and cuckooing
- Modern Day Slavery
- The impact of using victim blaming language
- Who can help
