THIS COURSE IS OPEN TO THOSE WHO WORK WITH AND FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN HEREFORDSHIRE.

This course is CPD accredited as of September 2023

This is a 2 hour virtual course. Joining instructions will be sent out to you approx.7 days before the course date. There is no cost for attending this course. 

For professionals and people who work with adults and children: You have a responsibility to keep children safe. You need to know what to look out for. Learn more about why kids are vulnerable and how they are manipulated into harmful situations and exploited.

This course aims to raise awareness of:

  • Why some children are more at risk of exploitation than others
  • Spotting the signs that a child might be being exploited
  • What exploitation is (Child Sexual Exploitation and Child Criminal Exploitation) including consent
  • County lines and cuckooing
  • The impact of using victim blaming language
  • Who can help
