Important:  Although we will not be talking about anything traumatic (ie, we won't be sharing stories of trauma) this workshop can be quite emotive.  We will try to contain the emotion and hold people in the workshops, but you may wish to speak to someone after (Manager, PSW, or someone from the academy).

Delivered by Medway’s Principal Social Worker, Lori Goossen, who is passionate about the need to recognise that as those who help others we need to also take care of ourselves and the impact the work has on our mental and emotional well-being.  This is increasingly important given the added impact and complexity of working more in isolation during Covid.  For years Lori has delivered this to multiple local authorities and at several Community Care events, Making Research Count seminars, conferences, and University of Kent.

SINGLE AGENCY TRAINING – This course is only open to HEREFORDSHIRE COUNCIL Staff. TARGET AUDIENCE: Children’s Social Workers, Social Work Managers, NQSW’s, Children’s Social Care – Family Support Workers, Children’s Social Care – Family Support Managers, Early Help Managers and Senior Early Help Support Workers
