This is a full day bespoke training session tailored to offer a focus around child on child abuse, sibling sexual abuse and intrafamilial abuse. As part of the day we aim to offer an understanding as to what is meant by sexual violence and child on child abuse, sibling sexual abuse and intrafamilial abuse. Also to work towards, describing the difference between normative sexual development and problematic or harmful sexual behaviours.

  • Understand what is meant by sexual violence and child on child abuse.
  • Describe the difference between normative sexual development and problematic or harmful sexual behaviours.
  • Understand the requirements for a whole school approach to tackling child on child abuse.
  • Explore ways to ensure a zero-tolerance culture towards sexual violence within schools.
